# Overview
Key elements of this presentation included:
- Overview of learnings from an AI scribe study completed in mid-2024 by OntarioMD in partnership with the Women's College Institute for Health Systems Solutions and Virtual Care (WIHV) and the eHealth Centre of Excellence, along with patients, clinicians, and AI scribe solution vendors.
- Introduction to OntarioMD's AI Knowledge Zone - an online, publicly accessible repository of information about AI scribes, the risks and other issues to consider when acquiring one, and ways to optimize AI scribe usage.
- Description of an ongoing process to determine a Vendor of Record Arrangement for AI Scribes. This arrangement will establish a list of vendors whose products meet the needs of primary health care providers in Ontario.
- Overview of the Alliance's supports for AI implementation in our sector, including an RFQ for a common vendor and a new AI Scribe Working Group.
- A broad-ranging Q&A/discussion session.
