#CanTreatCOVID is a pan-Canadian, community-funded clinical trial comparing various interventions for COVID-19 administered in primary care settings.

On Tuesday, March 27, 2023, Dr. Andrew Pinto, one of the principal investigators, shared information about the trial and how primary health care providers and their clients in Ontario can get involved. Dr. Pinto is a primary care physician with an interest in health equity and the founder of Upstream Lab in Toronto. He was joined by Dr. Jennifer Rayner from the Alliance and Gillian Kranias from Upstream Lab for a Q&A period at the end of the webinar. Gillian is a facilitator and knowledge mobilization specialist with a background in community-based primary health care, currently working with Upstream lab as a Community Engagement Specialist.

#UK Study

A related study, known as PANORAMIC, is ongoing in the UK. They recently published this evaluation of a COVID-19 treatment known as Molnupravir.
