The Social Inclusion and Health Equity Research Group at Laurier University is interested in better understanding the experiences of LGBTQ+ refugees before, during, and after arrival in Canada. The goal of the study is to improve our understanding of the needs of this population so that programs and policies can be amended. 

They are currently recruiting people aged 18+ who identify as LGBTQ+ and came to Canada as refugees. Participants will complete an online survey and a 60-to-90-minute interview. You may complete the interview in English or your preferred language. 

Participants will receive $50 for participation, and all information will be strictly confidential.
