Compensation
This research project is aims to articulate the climate-health risks faced by people experiencing poverty in Canada.
The study involves a 60-90-minute open-ended interview. With participants’ consent, interviews will be video- and audio-recorded. Participation is completely voluntary, and participants may withdraw from the study at any time. The identifying information generated during the interview will be held in confidence by using participant codes rather than the actual names. Any information that may lead to participants’ identification in the course of the video- and audiotaped conversation will be altered in the transcripts for confidentiality.
To be eligible for the study, participants should be someone affected by and/or having expertise related to poverty, health, and climate change; 16 years of age or older. We are considering poverty, health, and climate change broadly.
We acknowledge that language preferences can significantly influence the efficiency of communication and participation. If participants require a translator, we are more than willing to meet this need to ensure a seamless and comfortable experience for them.
If you would like to participate in the study, reach out to Leanne.Lacap@camh.ca to confirm that you meet all of the above eligibility criteria. The study will be scheduled at a time convenient for you via a Webex meeting. Compensation for yourtime will be provided.
