This infographic highlights key learnings and best practices to promote vaccine confidence and uptake from our paper, "Using Trusted Relationships and Community-Led Approaches to Promote COVID-19 Vaccine Confidence and Uptake across Ontario" published in the November 2022 issue of Longwoods Healthcare Quarterly. These findings were based on survey results from Alliance member organizations providing vaccinations or participating in our Community Vaccination Promotion - Ontario (CVP-ON) project.

#Social prescribing in context

 This Lunch 'n' Learn Webinar was held on November 16, 2022. It features Russ Ford, a health system researcher with a long history of leadership in Ontario's Community Health Services. He was the Executive Director of Stonegate CHC for 10 years and LAMP CHC for 17 years. He is currently pursuing a PhD in social work at McMaster, focusing his research on health system reform.

In the spring of 2022, the Alliance did an evidence synthesis and examined exemplars worldwide and found that Integrated Care systems in various jurisdictions, many like the ones that Ontario’s OHTs have been modeled on, are failing to meet their objectives to improve population health outcomes. What we discovered was that many of these more mature systems have discovered they are not realizing their goals by focusing on health systems alone.
